I've been told that this is the album that started the recording career of Verne Meisner. After recording dozens of albums and being installed in numerous Polka Music Halls of Fame his reputation tags him as one of the all time best accordionists to ever play a polka. Personally, I consider his recordings of waltzes to be masterpieces.
